At Durras North, you have a choice of Cottages, Cabins or Camping.

THE COTTAGES

These four 'retro' cottages were built around 40 years ago to accommodate people wanting to escape the 'big towns'. Externally, the cottages look much the same as when they were first built - though we have brightened up the colours. It's a wonder they are not heritage listed!

Internally, they are very comfy with television, DVD players, microwave, full kitchen, heater and fans. Each cottage has a deck where you can sit and watch the kangaroos graze. Basic wood fired barbecues are also provided.

THE CABINS

The four cabins are traditional caravan park cabins, not caravans. They offer budget accommodation & covered decks to enjoy the outdoors. All have basic wood BBQs.

Pelican and Penguin Cabins have their own toilet and shower and are rated 3 stars. Dolphin Cabin also has its own toilet and shower and is rated 2.5 stars. Possum Cabin is 30m from amenities block. It is rated 2 stars.

CAMPING - Durras Beach Camping Ground

The Durras Beach Camping Ground is located at the rear of the holiday park and is very popular with overseas visitors as well as locals. (Also popular with kangaroos, possums, birds and goannas!) All of the sites are spacious and have basic wood fired barbecues. Most are on a terraced hillside surrounded by the bush of the Murramarang National Park.

Towering spotted gum trees provide shade over the majority of sites. It is a short walk up to a modern amenities block with hot showers.

Some sites are powered and a couple are suitable for caravans closer to the amenities block. The beach and lake are around a 6 minute walk away whilst bushwalks start just a few metres from the camping ground.

Durras North is just 20 minutes from Batemans Bay and years away from modern coastal resorts. An ideal base to go bush or coastal walking and enjoying the wildlife. Just 3 minutes stroll to Durras Lake, the most pristine in NSW. Durras Beach is excellent for long walks, swimming, fishing and surfing.
