Holiday house, Spa
No vacancies for leavers week The home is in a prime location, in a quiet area of Old Dunsborough.
This purpose-built holiday home has a relaxing holiday feel to it. The large open plan living area upstairs with a pine-lined cathedral ceiling, full width deck (with BBQ and spa!), and expanses of glass create an unparalleled atmosphere which are only matched by the breathtaking views. Perfect for family reunions with the extended family.
The main living areas all have ocean views East to Bunbury, and North to Curtis Bay. Holidaying here amongst the treetops enhances the special nature of the house.
The house is fully equipped, and sleeps 10 (max).
Climate
Dunsborough has a Mediterranean climate - wet winters, hot summers. In winter most of the rain comes with low pressure systems and is accompanied by windy storms. In between storms are many days of beautiful sunshine, but cold nights. Summer is beach weather. The temperatures are milder than Perth, and the sea breezes are gentler.
School leavers in Nov
During leavers week late November, the house is unavailable as we use this period for maintenance. Booking requests for this period will therefore not be responded to

The place was spotlessly clean with every comfort from home you could imagine plus a few more! The proximity to the beach and town made life and shopping easy. The owners were fantastic and provided a luxurious holiday that allowed us to bring our pet.I would recommend this home anytime. Locality
Summer is magical. Relax on the balcony in the late afternoon watching the gentle breezes die out while the blue waters glass over. The sound of children playing on the beach or for the more energetic a late afternoon swim after a days sight seeing and wine tasting.
However winter in Dunsborough can also be very special - the crowds have gone, but the wineries, scenery and galleries remain. The fishing is even better, and the golf courses less crowded, and in spring the whales arrive. The house is fully heated in winter. From late August to early December whales can often be seen from the balcony, but for an unforgettable experience take the whale watching tour which departs from nearby Quindalup. The wineries and beaches are available year round. Dunsborough, WAs top Tourism Town in 1999, is the gateway to Cape Naturaliste. Located 25km from Busselton and just round the corner from Yallingup this area has some of the most beautiful coastlines in Australia. Sheltered by the waters of Geographe Bay, Dunsborough has a lot to offer. Whale watching, sailing, canoeing, fishing, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, horse riding, golf, wildlife parks, wineries and galleries featuring local arts & crafts. The Meelup National Park is 200m away, and this is the start of a coastal walking trail that goes all the way to Cape Naturaliste.
Wineries
The majority of the wineries in the Margaret River wine region lie between Dunsborough and Margaret River. The closest to Dunsborough (apart from Maslens right in Dunsborough!) is probably Happs which is a few kilometres south. Margaret River is approximately 40kms from Dunsborough.
Busselton Jetty Observatory
A must see - at the end of the 2 kilometre long Busselton Jetty is an underwater observatory which has just opened. The Busselton Jetty has unique cold water corals, and the observatory was built to showcase these. You can walk up the jetty to the observatory.
Property
The house is in a prime location and overlooks Geographe Bay with views across the bay to Capel. It is fully equipped down to hair dryers. It has a games room with a soccer table, Playstation 2, and XBOX 360.
The house is "child friendly" with permanent stair gates, high chair, a cot, play pen.
There is a large backyard perfect for a game of cricket.
