"The setting was very pretty, with beautiful gardens and views out over the fields. The accommodation was well-priced, comfortable (although not luxurious), quiet and clean. The facilities (tea and coffee, sitting area, bathroom) were good, and the landlady was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. It was a very pleasant place to stay and I intend to go back for a longer visit at some point. "

"The 3 night stay was a gift to my daughter and her new husband. They had a great time, found the accommodation warm and homely and the service very welcoming and friendly. As far as value for money goes I would say my money was very well spent. My daughter's husband is vegan and Margaret was very accommodating to his dietary needs providing him with a scrumptious breakfast of mushrooms and tomatoes on toast as well as bacon and eggs for my daughter."
