The peaceful bush setting together with the spectacular mountain scenery of the famous Grampians National Park (untouched by recent bushfires in the south) makes this the perfect place to relax. Unwind in our peaceful cottages, watch the sunset over the mountains and listen to the evening call of the kookaburras. Renowned for its wildlife, the Grampians is a sanctuary for kangaroos, koalas, emus and many other native animals. You will also find an abundance of birdlife, in fact over 200 species.

Dunkeld is a small rural town located at the foot of the Grampians and at the southern tip of Grampians National Park. It is 259 km west of Melbourne via the Glenelg Highway.

The Luxury Captain Cottage is a unique 4 star luxury cottage with the very best furniture, facilities and decor. It is an open plan 2 bedroom cottage with open log fire. The cottage feature double spa, reverse cycle air conditioning and two queen beds. All cottages feature TV, VCR, DVD and CD player, electric blankets, warm doonas, linen, fully-equipped, modern kitchen facilities, separate bathroom, comfortable beds and sofas private barbecue facilities, verandahs and a wide range of up-to-date magazines.

The Explorer Cottage is 3.5 star, has two bedrooms with a double bed in the main bedroom and a bunk and single bed in the second bedroom. All cottages feature cosy log fires, plus electric heating/cooling, TV, VCR, DVD and CD player, electric blankets, warm doonas, linen, fully-equipped, modern kitchen facilities, separate bathroom, comfortable beds and sofas private barbecue facilities, verandahs and a wide range of up-to-date magazines.

The Settler Cottage is a 4 star Deluxe, two bedroom cottage with a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a bunk and single bed in the second bedroom. The cottage is particularly cosy, tastefully decorated. All cottages feature cosy log fires, plus electric heating/cooling, TV, VCR, DVD and CD player, electric blankets, warm doonas, linen, fully-equipped, modern kitchen facilities, separate bathroom, comfortable beds and sofas private barbecue facilities, verandahs and a wide range of up-to-date magazines.
