Cottage

The Bower Retreat is a very comfortable 4 bedroom cottage set on a 56 acre property. Cottage backs onto rainforest creek with marked track running beside the creek and around the forested area of property.

The cottage is set in peaceful and beautiful surroundings with your own private area.

The Bower Retreat is well set up for self contained. Inclusions include a well equipped kitchen with large refrigertor, full stove and microwave. TV video, CD player, inside bathroom with shower and bath and seperate toilet. Outside shower and toilet with hot water. Glass sided toilet has views to rainforest creek.

4 Bedroom 1 queen, 1 double, 4 single beds. Doonas, blankets pillows and all linen inlcuding towels are included.

Laundry facilities with automatic washing machine.

Log fire and reverse cycle air conditioning for your comfort. BBQ

The cottage now has an enclosed area at front suitable for containing small children making supervision of them a much easier task, whilst they enjoy the outdoors.

This fenced area is also suitable for containing small to medium sized dogs. Bower Retreat is a pet friendly establishment.

Table tennis table set up in double garag.

There are your own chooks to feed and collect the eggs. Friendly cows and calves to pat and give a hand out.

Enjoy the pool on the property in the warmer weather. Pool with a view with fabulous outlook to the Black Bulga Range.

Great birding with over 90 species spotted on property.

Horse riding nearby at Topline Park run by very experienced horse woman and instructor Lisa.

Close to the state forest and national park of the Barrington Tops.

Dungog

Explore the historic towns in our shire Dungog, Gresford, Paterson Clarence Town and near by Stoud and experience some country hospitality.

Enjoy the newly established wine trail near Gresford with tasting at 3 wineries.

Visit us in April for Dungog Rodeo, in September for Pedalfest just to name a couple of the events for the year.
Market Day is held on the first Saturday of the month in Dungog.

Take in the beauty of the Barrington Tops World Heritage area with the many walks, waterfalls and views in this beautiful part of the world.
