Cottage, Bed & Breakfast, Self-contained apartment

Located in the heart of Victorias Premier Wine Region, Leafield's history stretches back to the early 1900s when the original house, known as "Gordons Guest Home", was constructed.

After most of the building was destroyed in a fire in the early 1960s, the remains were lovingly restored into what now stands as the charming 'Rose Cottage, one of three fully self-contained cottages which now inhabit the ten acres surrounded by beautiful sweeping gardens and picturesque views across the Valley.

The old world style of Rose Cottage features two double bedrooms, open plan lounge / dining / and kitchen area and a shared bathroom. Lounge room contains a 2 seat sofa and a 21/2 seat sofa-bed. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and also in lounge area.
Meanwhile Sage and Hanaby are open plan studio style cottages, each accommodating 2 people in absolute comfort with queen beds and 21/2 seat Moran Sofa.
All cottages contain wood fires, electric blankets, colour TV's, Stereos and reverse cycle air-conditioning to ensure year-round leisure for guests.

Complete with solar heated swimming pool, BBQ Facilities and a range of wildlife in the surrounding bush this enchanting country retreat is central to award winning Yarra Valley wineries and restaurants, and a host of other exciting attractions.
