"I cannot fault anything during my stay at Edgewater, staff were very friendly, and I was able to get access to my room earlier than I expected. As I wanted to extend the use of the room, as I was leaving on the ferry that night, I was able to do so at a reduced rate.
If asked I would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Devonport, and I would certainly stay there again."

"I found the rooms to be first class, the service and friendliness off the staff exceptional and the fare in the dining room good. I felt that the prices of the rooms were high, but that was the case for most of Tasmania. The convenience of being able to get off the ship and be at the motel was wonderful. I will definitely use the services again."

"We were very pleased with the accommodation at Edgewater; it provided a pleasant ending to our week-long stay in Tasmania. We watched the evening departure of the Spirit before dining in the bistro. The meals were good and the staff very friendly and efficient. And it couldn't be more convenient for an early departure on the Spirit."
