Chalet

Karrak Reach is a very special place. Surrounded by forest, the chalets offer unsurpassed views of the Scotsdale valley. To take advantage of the magnificent views the chalets are perched at the top of the property. The road to the chalets is steep but suitable for 2WD vehicles. The property abounds with wildlife and is a bird watchers paradise. Pack a picnic and explore the 50 acres of karri forest at the doorstep. Wake up every morning to choirs of kookaburras and magpies. Share magnificent sunsets with the kangaroos that visit the property daily. Situated in the heart of the Denmark winery district, the chalets are close to galleries and local attractions.

Locality

The Scotsdale area is a magnificent locality. A stunning mix of vineyards, farmland and forest, the valley is thought by many to represent the essence of Denmark. Karrak Reach is close to some of Australia's best wineries and just a few minutes from a range of attractions including an alpaca farm, cheese factory, various places to have a leisurely lunch and, for the more energetic, stunning walking trails.

Property

Karrak Reach is tailored for people who want to experience the spirit of Denmark and who respect and appreciate the environment. The roads are steep but suitable for 2WD vehicles. Note that mobile reception is poor and not all telcos cover the area. We hope guests will enjoy wandering in the forest and experiencing the wildflowers, animals and birdlife while picnicking at the rustic tables strategically along the walking trails. Karrak Reach is also a small working farm and trufflerie.

Pet friendly

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Secure, fully fenced running area, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

Dogs are very welcome inside in the living areas. The property is fully fenced but chalets do not have individually fenced yards. Dogs are allowed to run free through the forest and the property but must be under control at all times. A large secure dog run is available to guests wanting to leave their dogs for the day.
