Property

Heatherington Cottage and the poll hereford cattle stud are located on a property known as "Lone-Hand". We live in the 100-year old homestead. Many old pines surround the house, with expansive gardens.
The property has seen many uses over the years, including gold mining, potato growing, clydesdale and race horse breeding, grass and seed growing, sheep grazing and a t-shirt/ tourist goods factory when we purchased it. (The factory is now our farm shed and the office building is now Heatherington Cottage which has been re-located into its current position and obviously re-designed!)
Our property consists of 290 acres. Calving begins mid March and runs approximately to mid-May.
