"It was exactly the Daylesford experience i wanted to show my elderly mum from Perth. Old world and charming! It was no problem having two other couples staying as breakfast was staggered and it was as if we were there on our own. The most delightful position on the lake and close enough to walk to town for a lovely dinner. The owners , Linda and Frank, were a terrific couple whose lifestyle made us quite envious! Beautiful food although we only had breakfast. Everything so clean ++ Beds were unbelievably comfortable - like sleeping on clouds! And we were so warm helped also by the gas/log fireplace. I only had a week with my mum visiting victoria and this 2 night daylesford experience has left us with the warmest memories! i just happened to have ur booklet in my cupboard which i browsed through after I didnt find what i wanted when googled daylesford accommodation. How lucky am I!?!"

"Ambleside is well located with friendly service. The breakfasts are divine though you need to be prepared for sitting comunally with fellow guests at the brekky table. I was very happy to come home and find the electric blanket had been switched on! The towels were beautifully soft and cuddly."
