This private self contained bungalow, co-located with a unique Territory home, is only minutes drive from the airport and many Darwin attractions. CBD shops and offices, supermarkets, public transport, car hire firms, hotels, restaurants, are all within 5-10 minutes, but far enough removed to make any holiday or business trip a pleasant experience.

The Pandanus Pod has been specifically designed to maximise cross-ventilation and natural airflows from the nearby mangrove creek system. Overhead fans provide all the cooling you could need for the vast majority of the year, but there is airconditioning to help you through the worst of the "build up" and wet season.

Indigenous art and craft is available from nearby galleries and the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets. The Telstra National Indigenous Art and Craft Awards are announced every August at the Museum and Art Gallery, 5 minutes down the road. The National Indigenous Music Awards are held in late August in Darwin, again only 5 minutes away from the Pandanus Pod. Local Indigenous tours and cultural experiences are readily available, as well as day trips through nearby areas.
