Cottage

Trek the wilderness sections of the National Park or wander through a more sedate landscape to return to the comfort of a romantic cottage designed to bring the outside in and make the mountains seem closer.
Picnic at the old hut and chill off in the rock pools--
Or fly kites on a windy day--
Collect the eggs and feed the pet sheep-
Go cycling on a country road--Watch the birds fly through or catch the light with a camera or sketchbook--
A home cooked breakfast basket is included in the tariff.
The Treehouse is self-contained with two pretty bedrooms and a verandah specially designed for watching cloud tipped mountains.
Wild Lime Cottage, also self contained is settled on a ledge between green hills, overlooked by moody mountains. Here there is one romantic bedroom and sofa beds in the spacious living area which opens to a wide verandah. The luxurious spa promises relaxation.

Locality

Venturing out from Worendo you can find a number of beautiful wineries including Albert River Wines, Canungra Valley Vineyards and Barney Creek Vineyard. Tamborine Mountain also offers vineyards.
O'Reilly's at Greenmountains can be accessed by Duck Creek Road and the Kooralbyn Hotel and Resort with its world class golf course is close.
Further afield, the Lion's Road from Rathdowney offers a less travelled way over the border to NSW.

Property

Worendo has a young but established olive grove and visitors are encouraged to wander through and are welcome to pick the fruit in season. Recipe for pickling provided!
This is excellent country for fat cattle and they share the paddock with a few kind horses and inquisitve sheep.
The old hut handmade from river stones and timber offers shade and shelter by the river and the drama of the mountain scenery never fails to impress.
