Exclusive self contained holiday cottage centrally located within the Daintree National Park where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. Unique privately owned 3.5 acre property combining stone, slate, and timber to create an atmosphere that is an extension of the Daintree Rainforest itself. Perfect for a romantic getaway, executive retreat or family holiday.

Locality

The Daintree Rainforest offers so much to see and do, you will need to stay at least a few days to truly gain an appreciation for this magical area where the rainforest meets the reef.

SWIMMING
The warm tropical climate of the Daintree makes for great swimming weather all year round. Drive yourself just down the road to access secluded tropical beaches or visit one of the many freshwater creeks for a cool dip. Simply ask your caretaker at Eden Escape for the best advice on safe swimming spots at various times of the year.

HIKING AND BUSHWALKING
Take an easy stroll on one of the area’s boardwalks or venture further into the forest via the Mt. Sorrow trail or hike to the mystical Alexandra Falls.

FISHING
Bring your gear and head down to the beach or catch your own Coral Trout by booking a fishing charter to the outer reef. If it’s Barramundi you’re after, boat hire and fishing charters are available on the Daintree River.

SNORKELLING AND SCUBA DIVING
The Great Barrier Reef is unsurpassed as the world’s largest and most breathtaking marine park. Take a day trip to the reef from the shores of Cape Tribulation—nowhere else in the world can you launch straight from rainforest out to the reef. Only two tours operate in this area, ensuring a highly personalized experience with small group numbers. Avoid the crowds and visit unspoilt reefs only 45 minutes offshore.

Eden Escape provides all the modern comforts of home in an exotic rainforest environment. The house was built with environmental sensitivity in mind-a combination of solar power for electricity, natural sea breezes for ventilation, and the use of pure, clean Daintree rainwater for drinking, cooking, and showering. The surrounding gardens feature various native rainforest plants that attract butterflies and birdlife.

Eden Escape features a large, open plan living and dining area downstairs with modern stainless steel kitchen appliances.
