Holiday unit, Farm stays, Self-contained apartment

Explore the farm: meet our animals, the goats, cows, alpacas, bunnies and chooks.
There's also plenty of wild life at your door step padimelons, possums, bandicoots to name a few. We have four dams in which platypus reside and eagles soaring over the orchard. You can be as much involved with life on the farm as you like, go with us feeding the animals, take a tour around the orchard or just keep to your selves as we give you all the privacy you want. We are in the middle of the Huon Valley and close to great beaches and fishing spots, we have rods available on request. Also close are The Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves, Bruny Island and the Salamanca markets just to name a few. A special mention of all the of great Vineyards and restaurants is in place or get your hands on our fresh local produce and cook up a storm in your own kitchen.

Cygnet is the centre of a fruit growing district now favoured by retirees and artists, due largely to the beautiful scenery in the area. Some local attractions include cherry orchards, gemstone fossicking fields, craft shops which display some of Tasmania's finest classic clocks, the Hartzview Vineyard and the Talune Wildlife Park which features a range of native animals, including the Tasmanian devil and koalas. It is fascinating bush-walking, fossicking and craft territory. Events in Cygnet include the Cygnet Folk Festival and the Harvest Festival. Small film festivals and art exhibitions are also held in the town.

Locality

Cygnet is a small town of approximately 1000 people, situated in the Huon Valley 55 kilometres southwest of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Cygnet was originally named in 1793 by French navigator Admiral Bruny D'Entrecasteaux during a voyage in search of a missing explorer. Because of the number of black swans in the bay, he used his own language to name the inlet Port de Cygne Noir (Black Swan Port) which was later changed to Cygnet.

Property

Eden Farmstay is elegantly furbished with your comfort as the main priority, it feels like a home away from home. The unit has 2 lovely bedrooms, the master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds that can be turned into a king size bed plus an extra single bed if needed. All beds have electric blankets.
It's a great place to stay in for the day with a good book on the couch, watch one of our up to date movies or play a nice board game. We have a good range of all these available.

1 night bookings are only accepted as last minute bookings, less the 14 days in front and may occur a small surcharge.
