Holiday house

Fourwinds is a fully self-contained original, but renovated, fishing cottage. The house has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom plus an additional outside toilet, plus lounge room and a large open plan living/kitchen/dining area.

In the huge back yard there is an undercover patio area with a barbeque and table and chairs for alfresco dining, and plenty of space for kids to run around. There is also an outside toilet and laundry.

Fourwinds is located a leisurely 5 minutes walk to the local shops and beaches, comfortably accommodating 8 people, it is the perfect location for the family holiday or weekend away.

If you don't feel like cooking you can walk to the local cafe / club:

· Bowling club (where they serve both Australian and Chinese cuisine),
· Zac's Seafood Cafe (which is becoming quite famous with visitors to Currarong)
· The local cornershop does takeaway hamburgers, etc and is also the bottle shop.

No smoking in the house. All beds have a doona / blanket and pillows, you must provide your own linen/towels, unless you would like us to supply linen at $30 for one couple and $10 per extra person. There is an assortment of board games, books, and videos for those rainy days.
We require 20% deposit upon placing a booking and the balance to be paid 7 days prior to arrival.
There is a minimum 2-night stay.
Weeknights rates are cheaper than weekend rates except in the school holidays see the pricing schedules for details.
A $300.00 security bond is payable per booking and this is fully refunded within 14 days of departure providing the property is left in the same/similar condition as when you arrived.

Locality

Currarong is an easy 2.5 hour drive from Sydney, or 3 hours from Canberra. It is well serviced by the local shops which include a small supermarket with take away food section & bottleshop, newsagent, Zac's seafood cafe and of course the local Bowling Club with Chinese and Australian meals available.

If surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking or scuba diving doesnt tempt you, and swimming or lying on the beach isnt your thing, then there is also great fishing from the rocks or you can launch your boat at the local boatramp. There are numerous bushwalking trails with spectacular vieas around the peninsula coastline. Otherwise a short drive away is beautiful Jervis Bay National Park with its world famous diving locations, dolphin and whale watch cruises, secluded white sandy beaches and charming coastal towns.

Located on the Beacroft Peninsula, Currarong is surrounded by native bushland, and ocean. There is an ubundance of birdlife in and around Currarong. Just last year we had a pair of Spur-winged Plovers nest and successfully raise 3 chicks in the middle of our back yard.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Guests welcome to bring their own canoe/kayak, Less than 5 minutes walk to water, Less than 5 minutes drive to water.

Four Winds is a 5 minute walk to the beach and Currarong Creek, both suitable for canoeing or Kayaking.
