a waterfront cabin for two

BEACHED offers you a unique experience. This cabin sits in one of the most beautiful positions in Currarong. It fronts Dolphin Reserve with its huge fig tree & then onto the beach. The views are spectacular - the beach, the reef, the creek, the dolphins & whales!

BEACHED is a cosy 1950's fibro cabin with a skillion roof, old timber windows & original ledge & brace timber doors. It actually consists of two cabins. The bedroom is separated from the main living area by a breezeway. The bedroom has a QS bed, drawers & hanging space. Linen is provided. It is suitable for one or two adults and a portable cot is available.

The main cabin has a kitchen, living area & bathroom.
The kitchen is new with a recycled timber bench top, cook top, convection / microwave oven, fridge & washing machine. The cupboards contain all your needs. Just bring your food, or maybe you could dine at Zac's Seafood cafe, just 10m our front gate.
The bathroom is original, newly painted & clean but still with the old 50's cast iron green basin, shower & toilet.
The living area has a dining table & chairs, two lounges, plasma TV & DVD & a selection of games & DVDs. The living area has sliding doors that open onto a crazy paved entertainment area that is protected by a shade sail. There is an outdoor setting, BBQ & sunlounge just perfect for watching the world go by.

BEACHED is set on a flat grassy block that is fully fenced. You can always bring your dog too.

BEACHED still retains its old characteristics - old louvers, painted pipes, timber doors & windows, but it has been spiced up with some new additions.

Locality

Currarong is a small village on the northern peninsula of Jervis Bay, surrounded by beautiful beaches, a tidal creek, bush, rocky cliffs & headlands & National Parks. Currarong is just a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney or 3 hours from Canberra. Currarong has a general store/bottleshop, a bowling club with a Chinese bistro & Zac's Seafood Cafe for dine in or take away.

Swim in the gentle waters of the creek & waterhole, the rock pool or at a choice of surf beaches.
Snorkel on the reef, paddle or go boating.
Bushwalk on trails to secluded beaches & inlets, cliffs & headlands.
