Built originally in the late 1800s',
Oakleigh farmhouse has been added to over the years to create a spacious, comfortable home. In 1950 the home was divided to accommodate two families - (Oakleigh East and West). These sides can be booked either separately or together. Each side has it's own unique character.

Situated on a working farm, surrounded by rustic sheds and the paraphernalia of farm life, Oakleigh offers a 'down to earth' escape from urban living.
Get "disconnected". Come and enjoy the serenity.

12 mins from Corowa on the Murray River - the birthplace of Federation.
12 mins from Rutherglen Wine District - offering some of Australia's finest wines, and many special events weekends.
40 mins from Albury/Wodonga

Locality

Oakleigh is situated only 12 minutes away from Rutherglen Wine Region in Victoria and 12 minutes from Corowa (on the Murray) which hosts the Annual Gliding Championships. Great Golf Course at Corowa, also fishing, skiing and boating on the Murray River. 40 minutes from Albury Wodonga City.

Oakleigh is an operating farm - mainly crops and sheep. Although we are not advertising as a farm stay many people enjoy the fact that they are surrounded by farm sheds and equipment which are all part of an operating farm. For those especially interested a tour of the farm can be arranged.

Gay & Lesbian friendly

Offers a high degree of privacy, All guests welcome.

Oakleigh is a spacious property and also quite secluded offering good privacy for any guests.

Motor Bike Friendly

Motor bike riders welcome, Motor bike parking available.

There is 3kms of unsealed Rd to reach our property. Bikes can be parked under cover. The house is safe and quite a distance form other properties. Locked space for a bike could be arranged if necessary.

Pet friendly

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Bedding/sleeping area provided.

We have two closed in verandahs where pets can be bedded. It is a very large house yard, fencing not secure but there is a securely fenced old tennis court area where pets could be safely left if necessary. Property also suitable for horses and livestock - paddocks available.
