""Awesome Pad", we are 5 couples that vacation together to various places throughout the world and found this vacation house to have everything that we could possibly need. The owner setup a 5th bedroom for us so that we all had our own rooms. We couldnt believe it was only $250.00 per person for the whole week which gave us extra $$ to hire a car. Great kitchen and pool side dining. Theres many food options within walking distance from the house too and a spa 100m down the road that kept the gals super happy. The beach is super nice! Congrats on great place!"

"We really enjoyed the location, the space, the modern design and layout. Having a heated pool and spa was terrific for the children. The house is on a main road though which is busy. The house would suit pet owners very well but would be a problem if you are allergic to pets as there were carpeted areas and the media lounge had a cloth covered sofa. The patrolled beach was an easy walk - very convenient and not not crowded."

"We ve found a Gem! We had originally planned to stay in cabins at the caravan park but by the time we worked it all out with the extra cost for the kids etc the beach house actually worked out cheaper. We had our own pool and spa and I couldnt find anywhere else where you could stay closer to the beach than this place, unless your on the beach front paying thousands of dollars a night for the privilege even then they didnt have a spa or xbox. The house is positioned on the esplanade that leads into Coolum main street and I was worried that the house was going to be really noisey but once the big gate was shut out the front you didnt know the road was there. We love the beach and anyone else that appeciates a lovely beach at your door step combined with a great swimming pool thats heated solar will find this place to be great. A big THANKYOU to the owners you have created a beautiful place in one of the most beautiful spots in the world you should be very proud. Best place we have ever stayed."

The house is also in easy reach of the beach, and with a poll and spa made for an excellent venue. Perfect house for 3 or 4 couples."

"We enjoyed our time at the beach house alot. It was great for us as we had 4 children under the age of 5 years, and it was an easy dash down to the sand with buckets and spades. Great cooking options aswell as there was a Tagine hot pot, slow cooker a wok and wok burner at the side of the BBQ. It was raining when we arrived and the owners dropped off a bunch of new dvds for us which we really appreciated. The solar heated pool was good for the kids and the spa kept the kids busy for most of our stay. The large lounge room was good for the adults and the kids had their own living area with xbox360. A big thanks to the owners for sharing their little piece of paradise with us at a sensible price. See you again in July!"

"What a lovely place! Wonderful beach! Could not fault this accomodation/value/location. Loved the kitchen/pool/entertaining area, the house has great ambience. Bedrooms have a nice sea breeze and you can hear the waves crashing at night. Great position as we caught the bus everywhere and the bus stop is 100m away.
We could of spent are time here trying to pick faults with the house but we actually have a life, thanks Coolum Beach House we will definetly be back! "

"We enjoyed our stay overall. The pros with this property are the heated pool and hot spa - we really enjoyed them. The house also has lots of living space. The cons are that the bedrooms are noisy because of the house's position on a main road. The bedrooms are also incredibly hot because of their orientation. "

"House was great. we were disappointed in the fact there was lots of cockroaches in the house. we went out and got some spray for it, and had to clean the towels before we used them as they were very musty. Apart from that it was great house. Weather didn't help either so it was hard to get clothes dry. Design of the house was good though. It also needs more cleaning gear ie. bucket for mop etc... Thanks for the stay thou. Maybe we will stay again but not sure."

"During an unseasonally wet September, it was great to have the hot Spa, which was big enough for the whole family to enjoy. The close proximity to a great beach was very much appreciated and the big bath downstairs could accommodate several children, on their return from the surf. It was very useful having two separate living areas with a large television in each, so that not everyone had to watch the AFL Grand Final! The house provided good value for an extended family with casual accommodation, suited to the Queensland lifestyle."

"Coolum Beach house was nice! An older house that has been done up very nicely with some things showing their age. Spa was very nice in winter and xbox kept the kids entertained. Property Managers were excellent especially when gas ran out in heater it was replaced straight away. Thanks again Matt."

"We loved the fact that we could have little children on holidays and feel comfortable with the house and its setup to accommodate little people as well as the older children. Also the fact that we could cook our own meals on holidays which makes it more affordable. Matt was lovely as was his wife, we were made to feel comfortable using the house and nothing was too much trouble for them. We thoroghly enjoyed our holiday and felt like we were in a resort but with a much more reasonable price and also kids friendly. Great ++++++++"

"We as a family had so many options which suited our personalities, surfing, reading, movies, swimming pool and most of all just chilling out as a family. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way on a couple of occasions. Loved the fact that we could take our dogs with us as well. It was a very memorable few days, full of laughter. Due to my husband working overseas it was wonderful for us all to hang out as a family with our dogs and to be able to chill with everything at our finger tips. Loved it."

"We loved this house - it's perfect for large families or groups, in our case 3 families. The two living areas are separate and enough space to have some peace and quiet on your own if you want. I would only suggest a more thorough clean is provided between guests. I would also suggest you take your own bath towels (ones supplied to us were thin and ripping). Otherwise, the pool and spa are awesome. The beautiful beach is a stones throw away as is the bus! I would highly recommend this property, we would all love to stay again. "

"The house was excellent! Exactly as described, nice and clean and very spacious. Beautiful furnishings and decorations, and fully equipped kitchen. Gorgeous gardens and outdoor entertainment area! Very secure property - even our tiny Miniture Fox Terrior 'Sasha' could not escape - with pet friendly beaches a quick stroll away. The house was very entertaining with the pool, spa, xbox and cable tv. Everything listed is accurate and the home is even more beautiful in person. It is in a great location, close to the beach, community shopping centres and various activities. Did not dissapoint, will definately return!"

"We had a fantastic relaxing holiday.
Value was great and owners were brilliant.
BUT pictures can be deceiving !! - was an old house renovated to look beautiful but some of finishes weren't perfect and locking up the house and cleanliness of kitchen was an issue, but once we cleaned a little & figured out the doors it was all fine.
LOVED having our own pool, and seperate living areas & X-box for kids, & all the magazines.
Needs a clothes dryer."

"We had a fantastic stay in this beach house. The house is so easy to relax in with many great areas/daybeds to sit in. The heated pool with some shade throughout the day is fantastic for avoiding sun burn, and having it heated is a great addition aswell.
Everything you could need is there for you and all the features listed are at the property, in excellent condition and available.
We have a dog that loves to escape but the house is so well fenced he could get out - even after trying for 2 weeks! The dog friendly beach only 50 metres away was a huge bonus aswell.
We had a great time and would recomend it as an excellent family, couples getaway.
Cant wait to come back again next year!
