Maroochydore, Noosa, Caloundra, Eumundi, a range of excellent golf courses and Sunshine Coast's world famous tourist attractions such as Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo and Fraser Island are just a short drive away.

Locality

Coolum Beach is located right in the heart of the sunshine coast, about mid-way between Maroochydore and Noosa, approximately 20 minutes drive from each and about 1½ hours drive from Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland.

Coolum Beach Getaway Resort was deliberately built one block back from David Low Highway, the main traffic thoroughfare through Coolum Beach, with peace and quiet in mind.

Being one block back from this road makes the resort a VERY QUIET RETREAT for holiday makers staying there while still being very close to the beach. You can actually hear the breakers on the beach from your room at night instead of the traffic.

It is a pleasant 7 minute walk to the beach across the nature reserve and down a short, 100m nature trail. Bring a bright torch and take the kids for exciting night strolls on the beach spotting small sand crabs.

Shops, cafes, restaurants, clubs, bottle shop, delicious hot bread bakery, news-agency, McDonalds and a whole host of variety shops are also just a relaxed 10 minute walk away.
