The Boatman's Cabin is ideal for a couple or two couples or a few close friends who enjoy the finer things, to make an indulgent 'escape'.

The well appointed kitchen invites one to gather fabulous, fresh, Fleurieu produce and local wine and spoil yourselves just this side of sinful, while still in view of the water and amid the good company.

The deck is a perfect place to watch a small part of the world sail, paddle or wander by. If the weather should turn, you just move in behind the big class door and carry on enjoying the view.

Television, DVD, and CD players, and binoculars are close at hand and its just a few paces to Backwater Beach and the Nature Walking Trail

How many of the 154 species of water birds and bush birds so far seen here, can you can spot.

Marvel at skies so clear the town voted against full street lighting to preserve our fantastic view of the stars.

The Boatman's has also developed a dedicated following of small families who take advantage of the multitude of quiet activities available in Clayton Bay and the surrounding area. The Cruise & Learn Sailing package from Backwater Sailing School is a popular day out for couples and young families.

1 hour from Adelaide
20 minutes to the ocean at Goolwa and antiques at Strathalbyn.
15 minutes to the cellar doors at Langhorne and Currency Creeks
5 minutes to supplies and fuel at Milang.
1 minute to great coffee and meals at 'Sails at Clayton Bay'.
30 seconds to 'Sail Experience' session with a 'personal sail trainer' aboard a 14 foot classic sailing dinghy.

On the other side of the fridge is the side entry door with its wind porch and ramp a great spot to catch the sun in winter.

A 2 night minimum applies for all bookings.

Weekend - Friday & Saturday night including late exit on Sunday Twin share $300. Additional week nights $125 ea.

Sunday nights cannot be booked as part of a mid week booking.

Week Nights Twin share $250 for first two nights. Additional week nights $125 ea. As we do not split weekends and have a weekend package, no Friday, Saturday or Sunday is available as additions to week day bookings.

Full week (7nights) Twin share $925. Only available to commence on a week night, not on a Saturday or a Sunday night.
Late exit, 4pm, when available $25.

3 night minimum for SA long weekends
4 night minimum for Easter

Twin Share = Two people share double bed, linen included, main bed made up. Linen packs supplied for additional beds.

Extra Adults $25pn ea. dependant children $10pn ea. including linen pack.

Infants with own cot free.
