A quiet Clare Valley getaway with 360 degrees of amazing views on top of a hill, close to everything you need.

Pamper yourself in our luxurious, spacious 3 bedroom house with all the privacy and contents you wish for. Enjoy the complementary bottle of local wine in the spa bath in one of the two bathrooms while overlooking the vineyards during sunset. Have a BBQ or cook yourself a meal in the spacious kitchen or have a meal at one of the nearby wonderful restaurants. It's only 4 km's away from Clare Town Centre and Spring Gully conservation park, 3 km from Neagles Rock Lookout and the visitor Information Centre is only 2 km down the street.

The house is all new, as is everything in it.
The Clare View House is also completely accessible for disabled and wheelchairs, with wide door openings, wide showers and toilets with brackets, level floors with ramps and a partly adapted kitchen for the use of people in a wheelchair. Pets are negotiable.
A perfect spot to stay all by yourselves or share it with up to 8 of your friends. That way you can enjoy all that greatness for a low price!

Very close to Clare town, wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, The Riesling Trail (biking trail), The Clare Valley Visitor Information Centre, pubs, Spring Gully Conservation Park, Neagles Rock Conservation area, Spring Gully Lookout. All within 5 km's.

Property

Set on 27 acres (10.8 hectares)in the very popular Spring Gully area in Clare on a scenic drive. The property has hilly grassland and lots of wild lavender and quite a few great gum trees and very spectacular 360 degree views. Kangeroos visit the property regulary and so do Cookaburras and lots of different other birds. You overlook the Clare valley with vinyards and Neagles Rock conservation park. View up to 65 km's away.
Very private and exclusive, with by far the best views of all the B&B's/holiday homes in the Clare Valley.Bitumen road frontage. The Clare View House is only 4 years old and everything in it is brand new (2008). The living rooms has fantastic high ceilings. You have to see it, to believe it!

Guests are welcome to walk on and around the whole 27 acre (10,8ha) property. A whole round walk takes about 40 minutes. There are many nice walks from Clare View to nearby quit gravel roads. Clare View is located between 3 conservation parks: Spring Gully Conservation Park with great walks and an amazing lookout, just at the end of the street, Neagles Rock conservation park with also a great lookout point and Emu Flat reserve, both about 2 km away. Plenty to see and do for nature and wine lover!s!!

Eco-friendly

Building made from ecologically friendly materials, Recycling facilities available.

Our aim is to be an environmental friendly / eco friendly place to stay. Sustainability is a priority and therefore we recycle as much as we can (glass, cans, plastic bottles, paper, cardboard). The Clare View House was build in such way that the house stays cool in summer and stays warm in winter. This saves lots on energy and greenhouse gas emissions in our environment. We are replacing broken light bulbs with energy saving light bulbs and will keep on doing that until they are all replaced. To compensate the carbon footprint of the house native vegetation is being planted in 2010. The house is partly self sufficient; it runs on 100% rainwater and firewood is collected from the property. A small plantation is being planted soon to provide firewood for the future. A step forward to eco tourism / green tourism in the Clare Valley.

The whole house is wheelchair friendly adapted with wide door openings, wide showers, level floors inside and outside, and a partly low level kitchen. The Clare View House can accommodate up to 8 persons. You rent the whole house, so you are not mixed with other guests. It's only you and up to 7 of your friends or family members.
