Surrounded by native Australian bush and wildlife, Lyrebird Lodge is part of Lyrebird B&B which is situated in an idyllic setting. Full of character and charm with its wide veranda and original sandstone walls, you can ensure a delightful stay in a traditional colonial Australian home. Enjoy breakfast on the veranda alfresco style, or relax and read a book whilst listening to the local birdlife and watching the bush turkeys who live nearby.

Lyrebird Lodge is fully self contained with its own private pathway & entrance separate to the house. It features a newly renovated kitchen with modern appliances, a newly renovated bathroom and a living room with feature sandstone walls. There are a selection of board games to play, as well as a TV and DVD player. There are two beautifully decorated double bedrooms, and a sofa bed for extra adults or children in your group. You will also have your own large private veranda to enjoy, complete with barbecue. Wi Fi Internet and foxtel is available free and there is ample street parking outside the house.

Lyrebird Lodge is only 11km from Sydney's CBD and a 10 minute walk to both Roseville and Chatswood station, restaurants, shops and cinemas. The Northern beaches are only 30 minutes away by car, or take a bus from Chatswood Interchange. Garigal National Park is only 5 minutes away. by car, and you can take a delighful walk along Middle Harbour. Within a 2 minute walk from Lyrebird Lodge is Blue Gum Creek, with a pleasant 30 - 40 minute bush walk leading to Lane Cove National Park.

Lyrebird Lodge will suit an executive working in the city or on the lower North Shore, who wants a bit of quiet time and a homely place to stay with modern facilities . It will equally suit a family or small group of friends wanting to visit relatives in the local area, or visit Sydney's famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
