The Coach House is picturesquely sited in the tranquillity and privacy of the 12 acre 'Claremont' property, surrounded by trees, bird life, and browsing kangaroos. The hand-made brick building was constructed in c.1857, but with modern amenities provides a comfortable home-away-from-home.

The original hay loft is now a delightful main bedroom-cum-sitting room with a treetops sundeck; the groom's quarters are the modern kitchen and bathroom. The building and its environs exude the atmosphere of past, privileged times in a truly delightful setting.

Locality

The Coach House is a short walk to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Nearby Castlemaine is a thriving country town, which has retained its distinctive historical character - the perfect place for a latte, a movie, a gold mine tour, or a browse through some of the interesting shops.
