"For our first B&B experience, thoroughly enjoyed the whole concept. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was very comfortable, especially the open fire and the freshly cooked bread with beautiful homemade jams to compliment it. It was truly value for money. "

"The cottage was exceptional, the gardens beautiful, Liz and Geoff fantastic hosts, and the hot bread everyday was mouth watering. Even though it rained every day, and was very cold, we had a good supply of wood from Geoff, and really enjoyed the fire and the peace. We are now back home in North Queensland and sweltering in the heat. "

"

The cottage was really clean and well appointed, comfortable, beautiful location and the best hosts...very friendly and helpful. The garden that surrounds is wonderful and if you climb up to the top of the hill behind (only 5 mins) the view is spectacular. You need longer than one night in this area...stay two...we will next time. Sue and Rod from Launceston."

"A peaceful and cosy place to say in a picturesque part of tasmania. The hosts were friendly and respectful of us. They accommodated our needs as a family very well, and we enjoyed the freshly baked bread, bikkies and jams. Our baby also enjoyed being able to explore the property and the friendly farm animals. Being able to take our dog also added to the appeal of the cottage."

"Perfect conclusion of our Tasmanian experience. To enjoy our hosts hospitality, meander through 2 acres of beautiful gardens and enjoy the ambience, we fully recommend Camelia Cottage to other couples. Only 30 minutes from Hobart we considered this far superior for us than a concrete box in town. Top marks for cost, quality and friendliness"

"This historic cottage is a gem! It's located behind the main house and is well-appointed, including with an open fire and friendly cat. The view is great and the large gardens are a delight. The breakfast was extremely generous (fresh farm eggs and just baked bread), in fact enough for 2 for dinner on arrival as well, considering we'd had a huge lunch. We'd return any time."
