Enjoy a game of golf at the picturesque local Golf Club which backs onto the Jabiru Geneebinga Wetlands, a sanctuary for native birds and wildlife. If you are there on a Sunday experience a unique train trip on the miniature railway which runs short trips between 10am and 4pm.

Casino is also the gateway to many of the Northern Tablelands national parks and wilderness areas including Border Ranges National Park and Mt Warning National Park. Approximately 20 kilometres west of Casino at Dyraaba, you will find local Aboriginal Rock Carvings.
