Bed & Breakfast

Carmelot is set in lovely gardens, surrounded by orchards and various bush walking trails.Two medieval themed bedrooms provide romantic comfort and style of a bygone era,the days of King Arthur and Camelot. Our rooms have queen sized beds,one of which our huge Lady Guinevere Room has a four poster canopy bed overlooking our beautiful pool and waterfall. Full continental and country breakfast with local free range eggs and home made preserves are served either beside the pool or in the Knight's Dining Room which is adorned with medieval decor and antiquities. In winter,why not snuggle up in front of our cosy fire with a good book and a complimentary glass of mulled wine or port. Then there is the glorious summer months where you can laze by the pool and enjoy a glass of our valleys finest wine. Have a barbecue or even a midnight swim. A qualified Massage Therapist is available on-site in our Sir Lancelot room for a relaxing massage to de-stress and enjoy. We have a vast, interesting book, video and DVD library for the medieval buffs.
There is a bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in your room,with complimentary homemade cake or blueberry muffins on arrival.

Locality

We are only 15 mins from the International Airport, only 25 mins from the city of Perth and also the Domestic Airport.Close to many tourist attractions, including Rose Farms with delightful tea rooms and many local wineries.Araluen Botanical Gardens and the Mundaring Weir are 10-15 mins drive. The picturesque village of Kalamunda with it's pioneer history village and monthly open air markets is only 10 min drive from Carmelot.

Property

Large family house set in half an acre of lovely gardens. Our property entrance welcomes you with the legendary sword in the stone "Escallibur". We have a beautiful lagoon pool, cabana and patio area. A lovely sunny spot to sit in winter and to have a swim and barbecue in summer.
