Creek Cottage, a charming hideaway, perfect for one, two, three or four guests, delightful studio style with period furniture, set in Homestead garden with views over creek to rolling fields.

The new Spa Room adds an extra touch of luxury for all guests at Lochinver Farm.

The Cottage provides an extra bedroom for groups of 10+ staying in the five bedroom Homestead at Lochinver. it can be booked separately or together with the Homestead.
Lochinver accommodates larger groups of up to 20+ in The Homestead, Creek Cottage and Lochinver Blue Wren Cottage, which can be booked separately or together.
Enjoy the open spaces and tranquillity of this historic 1000 acre farming property along the Creek at Carisbrook.

Locality

A Week at Lochinver….

every day, enjoy a wander along the river. Watch cattle and sheep graze, view heritage farm buildings, landcare and indigenous cultural sites.

On your first day, visit the huge elegant Maryborough Railway Station with Café and Antiques then explore High Street.

Set off to Tuki, a Trout Farm, catch your own lunch. Nearby is Kyirong, a traditional farm with emus.
And visit Plaistow, the first Homestead in Central Victoria, and enjoy the collection of heritage poultry and the angora goats.
Drive to Maldon, through the open country side where the film, Romulus My Father, was made. From Maldon take a steam train ride to Castlemaine and take in the breathtaking views from the lookout tower on Mt Tarrangower.
Learn about the Mount Alexander Goldfields at the Old Castlemaine Market.
Enjoy the fruit and wine of the Harcourt Valley.

Head south to Talbot's great cafes,a bookshop, the Farmers' Market and view the heavens at the Observatory.

Explore the beautiful landscapes of the Pyrenees wine region , have lunch at the famous Pie Shop, coffee at the Olive and Lavender Shop in Avoca.

On to exploring Bendigo, ride on the talking tram, go underground in the Central Deborah, Discovery, a technology centre, lunch at the Café at the Bendigo Art Gallery. Check out the Chinese Dragons and more..

Visit Ballarat, travel back to the early Goldfields days at Sovereign Hill, the Eureka Museum, the Botanic Gardens at Lake Wendouree, especially the POW Memorial..

... and the Spa Country at Daylesford/Hepburn Springs on your return to Melbourne....
