. The Penguin House is a unique architecturally designed experience. Perfect for 1 to 3 couples or families with older children. The house is essentially two fresh, contemporary, stylish, light filled, one bedroom units. The upstairs unit, which has spectacular uninterrupted views over San Remo to the east and the Shearwater reserve to the west, and the downstairs unit which has a generous deck, deck chairs and gas barbecue overlooking the landscaped coastal vegetation garden. Each level has one bedroom, an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and an open plan living area with sofa bed.

Locality

There are a huge number of attractions, from the Woolamai surf beach, or the children’s safety beach, to feeding the Pelicans. Watch out for penguins on your walk to the beach (we see them occasionally in the secondary dunes). A 5 minute drive to the lovely Churhill Island with it's historical homestead and farmlette, or 5 minutes in the other direction takes you to the Koala Park and “Amaze ‘n Things”. Beautiful walks through the protected reserve, great for bird watching. Half hour drive to Cowes or 1.5 hour cycle if you are up for it.
