Dene on the Cape is a 5 acre property overlooking the acres of Barragunda Estate and the cliffs of Bushrangers Bay.

Our property has a horse and a very friendly dog. Many kangaroos, kookaburra's, eagles and the odd echidna.

The views consist of ocean and rural, and the stars are magnificent at night.

Wake up to a sea of Kangaroos enjoying the early morning sun within meters of your balcony. Or enjoy a relaxing spa overlooking the ocean to Bass Strait

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, or a family holiday with the dog, Dene on the Cape caters for both.

A great escape for families with children as downstairs is like a large rumpus room plus two bedrooms. Upstairs is completely separate, with the makings a romantic parents retreat.

Upstairs being separate quarters to downstairs, has access from a stairwell outside. It boasts a luxurious room for 2 including queen bed, sofa bed, Airconditioning, Digital TV, DVD player , dining table, tea/coffee/toast facilities, crockery/cutlery bar fridge and a large ensuite including double shower and double spa. French doors open onto the balcony which includes an electric BBQ and oudoor dining with beautiful ocean views.

Downstairs has 2 rooms with sleeping for up to 4, a large lounge/dining area, air conditioning, new galley kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge, benchtop oven & hotplates and all kitchen accessories including cutlery and crockery. There is a TV and DVD player & surround sound, toilet, woodfire and table tennis to enjoy. There is also a trampoline for the children.

The property boasts two indoor dining areas and two outdoor dining areas.

"This retreat is a hidden paradise - amazing views, wonderful animals and fantastic attention to detail. We were absolutely stunned! This gorgeous barn had surpassed our expectations by a thousand miles! Our dog enjoyed exploring the compound & made a friend in Tyson. Locality

For the Golfer: where else would you want to be, but in the Golf Capital of Australia - walking distance to Cape Schanck and The National, and a few minutes drive to Eagle Ridge or Moonah Links.

With access to the famous Gunamatta beach and Greens Bush National Park for the keen equestrian folk , we can accommodate your horses too. Dogs are welcome also - allowed inside downstairs only.

With the many wineries and eating houses available in this fine area, you will be hard pressed to choose where to go.

For the children - Dromana Drive-In theatre, Mazes, Horseriding, beaches.

For the bushwalker - many trails to explore in this area.
