The Reef Retreat, in the centre of cosmopolitan Palm Cove, is just a short stroll away from cafes, shops, restaurants, and bars, many of which are located on the Esplanade overlooking idyllic Palm Cove Beach and the beautiful Coral Sea.

The Reef Retreat, a tropical paradise on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, is next to idyllic Palm Cove beach 20 minutes north of Cairns. The award-winning architect of this 4 star boutique retreat has created a unique ambience with rooms tucked in amongst a rainforest setting.

Surrounded by lush, tropical gardens, palm trees and exotic birds, The Reef Retreat offers seclusion and privacy on the one hand, but is in the centre of a cosmopolitan seaside village. The architect’s extensive use of timber ramps, walkways, louvre windows and bi-fold doors creates a unique tropical experience.

36 SELF CONTAINED ROOMS
Guest can choose from studios, suites, spa suites, or a two-bedroom villa, all stylishly renovated in east meets west decor. The rooms offer spacious open designs of 35 to 119 square metres, air conditioning (as well as ceiling fans), TV, and STD / IDD phones.

The four room types are located in three two or three storey buildings. Rooms come complete with kitchenettes, living/sleeping areas, and spacious, private balconies or patios overlooking lush tropical gardens or pool. The two-bedroom villa has a spa bath, a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a private laundry.

FACILITIES
Guest can relax in the spa, swim in the heated pool, have an Aussie BBQ in a tropical rainforest setting or book one of over 200 tours at our friendly tour desk.

Other facilities include a guest laundry, safety deposit boxes in reception, free undercover parking, and guest storage facilities. The staff at The Reef Retreat are committed to making this an Australian experience not to be forgotten.
