"Amber Gardens is a little slice of heaven. The setting is beautiful... 5kms out of the chaos that is Byron, but close enough to drive in and enjoy the restaurants at night. It's not on the beach front, but the grounds are lush green and beautifully kept - a lovely place to relax by the pool out of the heat of the midday sun - particularly the hammock in the shade! Andy and Stuart are wonderful hosts and their breakfasts are second to none. Their recommendations about places to go and eat and visit were very handy. "

The facilities were first class; the hosts were charming and the fact that the drive in to Byron Bay (and lets not forget Bangalow!) was so quick made it the perfect location.
