Cottage

Our Pike River Vineyard Cottage is set amongst 40 acres of Chardonnay Vineyard.
The newly refurbished Cottage has a fully fenced rear yard for privacy and you will enjoy relaxing here after your busy days sight seeing about the Riverland or entertain family or guests for a meal.
The Chardonnay Vineyard has been set on the sunny cliffs of the Pike River and when staying here you will be able to enjoy private access to the water front via our cliff road.
The view is amazing and by bringing your hiking boots you will be able to enjoy walking through our 40 acres of river front land viewing flora and fauna or throw the rod in for a spot of fishing off the bank for a Callop or two, yabbying, or canoe our quiet waters, so much nature to see.
We are also offering a free bottle of our own Red on arrival for you to try.
You may purchase bottled wine direct from us also.

Locality and attractions

We are located on the Pike Creek Road above the River Murray township of Lyrup, in the Riverland of South Australia.
Berri township is only 10 minutes drive from Lyrup and 20 minutes from Renmark when you cross the 24hr working River Ferry in Lyrup.(one of the few left in service)
In Lyrup we have a Community Club where you can dine Thursday to Saturday and a local Shop open 7 days with a Postal service.
On Pike Creek Road we have an Art gallery you can visit by appointment.
Close by in Paringa they have a local Beer Brewery and the Riverland boasts many Winery cellar doors for tastings and experiences.
Lyrup has a Boat ramp at the grassed river front for all to use and a fully fenced playground.
Renmark, Berri and Loxton boast Hotels and clubs for dining along the river also.

Property

The property lies in a Vineyard setting.
Newly refurbished with new large granite topped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, new white gloss furniture and sheridan towels and linen.
Boasts a sunroom at the very front of the cottage for entertaining whilst in the Riverland.
BBQ has a covered area to cook under.
There is a laundry within the sunroom also a second toilet.
A car port to the side of the cottage gives great protection for your vehicle.
There is plenty of parking space for a boat trailer as well.

Together with new furniture and kitchen equipment.
You can also browse at the original Paintings by local artists. Some of which are for sale as well.
Enclosed sunroom to relax in at front of stone cottage with an undercover BBQ area to the side.
Secluded and relaxing.
You may also have access to the Pike River via our Private access road (4wd vehicle) or go for a nature walk to fish from the riverbank or look at the local flora and fauna on our river side property.

A free bottle of red wine supplied from our "Southern Secret" wine range on arrival.

Wine Appreciation

Winery on site.

The Vineyard Cottage is located on one of the Wineries Vineyard properties altogether consisting of 700 acres
( Sigismondi Estate Wines- Southern secret brand ).
Although tastings are not available from the Winery premises we can sell bottled wine directly to the public or guests by appointment.
