Holiday house

Featuring five bedrooms, a number of reception rooms and wide verandahs overlooking cottage gardens, Sussex House is a haven of comfort and tranquility.

Constructed with many authentic period features and details, Sussex House calls to mind the large country cottages of England and France and features antique furnishings throughout the property.

Step back in time to a more elegant era with deep antique clawfoot baths, enjoy sunny breakfasts in the enormous farmhouse kitchen and smell the ocean breeze through one of several french doors.

Only ten minutes walk to the white sandy beaches of Geographe Bay or the friendly shopping district of Busselton.

We have loved our stay at Sussex House. The house is lovely and the facilities are great. Thank you for all the thoughtful extras.

Locality

Busselton is Western Australia's premier seaside resort town with 30 kilometres of white sandy beaches lining the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay.

The town centre features a number of cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants and many interesting shops.

The world renowned wine region of Margaret River is only a 30 minute drive away with over 100 beautiful wineries to visit.

The spectacular coastlines of Dunsborough, Yallingup and Eagle Bay are all within a scenic 30 minute drive of Sussex House.

Property

Sussex House offers five bedrooms (two downstairs and three upstairs) and two large bathrooms, both featuring antique clawfoot baths.

The master suite features a dressing room, ensuite bathroom and french doors opening onto the verandah.

The house features a large living room with fireplace and french doors opening onto the verandah and a private study with ADSL internet access.

The enormous country kitchen (featuring modern appliances including microwave and dishwasher) opens onto the rear garden with exquisite David Austin roses and manicured lawns.

Please note, no smoking is allowed inside the property and we regret that we are unable to accept pets. IMPORTANT! Sussex House will not rent the property to school leavers in November.

Property is short walk from Geographe Bay and short drive from Busselton Jetty which is a popular local fishing spot and the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. Many excellent fishing spots are located within a 30 minute drive of Sussex House. Boat ramp is a 5 minute drive from property and there is plenty of room in the driveway for a car and boat trailer.
