Mandalay is a 5 star holiday resort and tourist park with shady powered sites, ensuite sites, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom chalets, beach cottages, spa chalets, superior chalets (some with spas) and luxury spa villas.

Ideal family style accommodation with facilities such as 3 adventure playgrounds, giant jumping pillow, two heated swimming pools (one of which is indoor), playing field to kick a football or play cricket, basketball hoop, volleyball net, campers kitchen, barbecue areas, bike hire (adult), internet kiosk, wireless internet, games room with table tennis, pool table, TV and arcade games.

Locality

Mandalay is a 2 1/2 hour drive south of Perth at the gateway to the Margaret River wine region.

The park is situated accross from Geographe Bay, which is a 70 klm long sandy beach with a northerly aspect which means the water is mostly calm. It is ideal for swimming, fishing, snorkelling, crabbing, sailing and beachcombing.

Hire a bike and ride along the cycleway to the town centre and visit the Underwater Observatory on the Busselton Jetty.

We have two chalets that are disabled with assistance. They both have ramps up to the chalet and have shower chairs and rails in the bathrooms, one 2 bedroom superior chalet has a lip to the shower where the ensuite cabin has no lip. There is a ramp over the lip to the main door. The main reception on site has stairs leading up to it but there is also a ramp for wheelchair access. Other chalets in the property have stairs to them.

We have two accessible chalets available for holidays. Ensuite cabin and 2 bedroom superior chalet both with ramps and a disabled chair in the bathroom. These chalets are accessible with assistance.
The main reception has a ramp and wider door for wheelchair access.

Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, Beach views, Relax by the pool after the beach.

Mandalay is opposite Geographe Bay. There is a minor road to cross inbetween the property and the beach.

Fishing

Located less than 5 mins walk to water, Boatramp within 5 minute drive, Fishing spots available nearby, Local fishing knowledge available, Boat storage/parking available onsite.

Geographe Bay is opposite Mandalay with a safe white sandy beach to fish off of. Dolphin Road boatramp is located 500 metres from Mandalay and is a sand boatramp.

Pet friendly

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted.

Pets are permitted in your own van or tent on a powered site from the 1st of May - 31st of October. Pets are not permitted in our accommodation or communal areas.

Whale Watching

On-shore whale watching nearb, Whale watching tours available nearby.

Whale Watching is seasonal. The charters leave from Dunsborough generally from October - December. Whales can be seen from the Cape Naturaliste lighthouse and various beaches along the coast.
