"Maisie's Cottage" ... just a short stroll to the beach or town centre - is exceptionally clean, tastefully renovated and fully equipped with all conveniences including TV, DVD, microwave, BBQ, washing machine, dryer, iron, and babies facilities. Linen can be supplied for a small additional cost. The kitchen still retains the original woodstove, which warms the house in Winter, whilst the gentle breezes off Geographe Bay keep the cottage nice and cool in Summer.

Maisie's has plenty of quality books, magazines, games and toys to keep the family entertained. The garden has a pleasant outlook to relax and soak up the morning sun on the front verandah, walk to the beach at the end of the street or maybe take a lazy half hour drive to Margaret River, passing wineries, restaraunts and many wonders of the Southwest of Western Australia along the way.

Maisie's Cottage was a delight to restore. We named the cottage after the name of the original owner who lived and raised her family here for over 50 years. It's a house that reminds us of our past also and the feeling we get when we walk through the door is always welcoming and cosy.

We understand some guests may wish to bring their pet with them on holidays and as a result, we are currently "trialing" guests with pets at Maisie's Cottage (this is subject to arrangement). However it is important to point out we are not fully-fenced and so this may only suit guests with older or well behaved animals. Our location - close to the beach - makes for a very tired dog at the end of every day!

We strive continually to improve Maisie's to ensure you all enjoy your holidays as much as we do!

Unique Busselton - with over 30 kilometres of pristine sandy beaches stretching endlessly which is a great attraction for windsurfers, waterskiers, fishing, snorkelling and diving. The wreck "HMAS Swan" sits in the protected waters of Geograph Bay (Dunsborough) making it "diveable"

The picturesque town of Busselton is a thriving tourist town and has something for everyone. The famous BUSSELTON JETTY, the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere - stretching for 2 kilometres(!) out into the beautiful water of Geographe Bay, together with the Underwater Observatory which descends 8 metres to the sea-bed is a definite MUST SEE!

There are excellent cafe's, restaurants, art and craft galleries, markets, sporting and family entertainment facilities and historical attractions - which makes Busselton an excellent base from which to launch your adventures through the Southwest to Dunsborough and the Margaret River Wine Region.

DEC 05 - We absolutely loved our stay at Maisie’s Cottage. The situation is excellent - a short walk to the jetty and beach. Our kids loved the range of toys and books (which were used more than the toys they brought with them) there were in the cottage. My father wished he could take the front veranda with him; he loved reading there in the morning sun (away from the grandchildren!). We will be back
