Black Rock Retreat is a brand new luxury accommodation unit. It is perched 100 meters above sea level offering beautiful rural surroundings with unsurpassed sea views of the northern coast line of Tasmania. The view is limited only by the curve of the earth. It is within easy traveling distance from the two main coastal towns of Burnie (10 minutes east of Burnie) and Devonport (35 minutes west of Devonport).
Black Rock Retreat is ideally suited to two travelling couples (4 people) it has a bedroom with a queen bed and en-suit at each end of the unit with a beautiful sassafrass timber floor in the main living area. Tasmanian timbers are featured throught out this ultra modern unit.
Black Rock Retreat looks down to the ocean were some of the earliest settler first came ashore. They used the 'Black Rock', which can be seen clearly in the water at low tide, as their landing jetty.

Black Rock Retreat offers intimate and private designer accommodation for up to four people with full breakfast
provisions. Lie in bed and admire the sunrise, or watch the eagles ride the updrafts. Have a sip of Tasmanian wine in the spa. The deck provides a good viewing platform for farm animals or in the evening, maybe catch a sight of some native wildlife. Whales can sometimes be spotted during the winter months.

Black Rock Retreat offers a meet and greet and every effort is made to help make your holiday memorable. You will recieve an arrival gift of a bottle of Tasmanian red and white wine and some locally made chocolates and cheeses. Please enquire about our in house masseur or a gourmet basket for your enjoyment.

Property

Black Rock Retreat is set on a 10 acres title in the midddle of the rich red soils of the north west agricultureal area of Tasmania. The surrounding property has been in the one farming family from the mid 1800's, and is still a working farm.
