Holiday house

One of Bundeena's original family bungalows from 1957, it is comfortable, well equipped, full of character and personality. On a quarter acre block with backyard securely fenced for kids and pets. BBQ in the back yard to the sound of the surf. Out the front door and across the reserve to the village's best fishing spot. In winter: whalewatching from the cliffs makes a National Park walk even more exciting than usual. In spring: wildflowers abound and the birdlife will astound. In summer the beaches are sublime and unspoilt.

Locality

The Royal National Park is one of the wonders of the Sydney region and Bundeena is uniquely placed within it. Bushwalking is as easy or adventurous as you choose. The house is minutes' walk to beaches, with sheltered ocean views and quietly situated in a "dress circle" location.

Property

This dear old family house is cool in summer, warm in winter and totally relaxed and friendly at all times. We love it and like to share it with others when we can. Not for those wanting 5 star luxury hotel/resort style accommodation. It's a much-loved, elderly Australian classic - with most mod cons. (BYO linen: blankets, pillows and doonas provided.)

Pets are permitted inside.

We ask that dogs are guaranteed bathed and flea-treated and have up to date vaccinations. Dogs are welcome in the house but we ask that they are kept off the furniture and beds. The front yard is not fenced, the back yard is fenced. Dogs are permitted off-leash on Hordern's beach before 8.30am and after 4.30pm, although unfortunately this does not extend to weekends or public holidays. Dogs are not permitted in the Royal National Park.

Midweek: Mon-Thur $100 per couple, per night; Weekend: Fri-Sun: $400 minimum for house. Dogs: must be guaranteed Frontlined and vaccinated. Cleaning fee of $100 may apply. House and garden to be left neat and clean.
