Cottage, Holiday house


The house has living areas both downstairs and upstairs. Upstairs is open plan living/dining area with new kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave and water filter. The living/dining area is comfortable furnished. CD Player is on this level. There is two covered decks. Upstairs is also three bedrooms, the main with ensuite plus an extra bathroom and toilet. There is two queen beds, and two single beds in the three bedrooms, plus an extra mattress and a daybed downstairs.

The inside stairs leads down to two living areas, one facing a large covered deck with gas barbecue. The other room is equipped with comfortable furniture for TV, DVD or Video viewing. This area has a bar as well. The laundry with washing machine and an extra separat toilet is also downstairs.

The garden is fully fenced and with a lovely feeling with many trees and bushes. There is two big covered areas with tables and gas barbercue.

Several visitors have expressed that the house has such a lovely feeling and that they have found it very hard to leave again.

Locality


Tomakin is a little sea village 15 km south of Batemanns Bay and 15 km north of Mouruya. Tomakin has a small shop and cafe as well as club with excellent dining. Batemanns Bay and Mouruya have very good shopping facilities. Nearby is the little township Mogo, with lots of interesting shops and cafes as well as Mogo Zoo with many exotic animals inclusive a white lion.

Tomakin has a choice of three beaches in very close walking distance from the house, aprox. 200-300 m from the house. The river is 100 m from the house and with boatramp facilities. Tomakin Cove is an excellent swimming beach and friendly for children. Barlings beach has always good waves for surfing. There is a very nice roundwalk along the river and beaches. The view on the headland between Barlings Beach and Tomakin Cove is one of the best on the South Coast.

The beaches face Broulee Island, which is only 5 minutes drive away with more nice beaches and walks around the island to explore.

Please bring your own linen such as pillow cases, sheets, quilts, towels etc.
