Cosy enough for two and spacious enough for five, Hattie's Beach House is surrounded by established native trees and plenty of bird life. You'll know you're on holiday as soon as you arrive. A short 5-min stroll via a picturesque bush track you'll find the fine white sands and pristine surf of Bengello beach (patrolled Oct thru Apr, when the water is still beautiful!).

Polished limed floor boards throughout and some funky retro furniture with French striped canvas upholstery lend added style to this very relaxed beach house. Perfect for one or two couples, or a family of five. Enjoy breakfast in the delicious morning sun which streams in. Kick back on the deck and take in the relaxed vibe of the garden. Breathe in the revitalising, fresh seaside air and soak up the unhurried village atmosphere. The human battery really gets recharged here.

Light and bright, there's wonderful cross ventilation to keep you cool in summer (we hardly use the fan) and heating to keep you snug in winter. Screens on all windows and doors ensure all unwelcome guests remain outside!

The generous grassed back yard has plenty of room for the kids to play. Nearby is Candalagan Creek, Broulee's tidal lagoon protected from the sea, with perfect swimming for young children. A second shower downstairs in the laundry is really handy after the beach. Another TV in the main bedroom should alleviate any family TV programme conflicts!

The kitchen has views through the trees and is fully equipped (incl a dishwasher, of course). The dining table seats six. Or you may prefer to eat at the more casual table downstairs overlooking the north-facing back garden near the gas barbeque. The local Muffin Shop is great for breakfast or lunch, with relaxed outdoor tables. A real dining surprise in Moruya, just a 10-min drive away, is The River, the only hatted restaurant between Wollongong and Victoria! You'll find some light holiday reading at the house and a folder of local information we've put together to help you enjoy your stay.

Indulge in local seafood at the quality restaurants and clubs, hop aboard a peaceful river cruise to Nelligen, venture to sea on a fishing charter, picnic at the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens or get in some retail therapy at the large shopping centre. If it’s raining, you might want to catch a movie at the Twin Cinema.

Undoubtedly the place to go for seasonal whale watching or tours to Montague Island with lighthouse, seal and penguin colonies.

Hattie's Beach house is ideal for one or two couples or a family of up to five. There are two bedrooms: a generous main bedroom with a double bed; second bedroom has a trilogy bunk (double bed below, single bunk above).

We provide pillows, doonas, mattress/pillow protectors.
For an additional $10 per person, we're happy to supply 100% cotton bed linen and bath towels if you’d like. Just let us know at the time of enquiry. Then all you need to bring is your beach and tea towels. And your fishing rods - nearby beach and river fishing are both promising!
