Independent review - Beautiful Accomodation

Each of the 5 chalets is a contemporary adult retreat built just for two. They are set well apart from one another with plenty of trees and foliage in between to ensure complete privacy. An open living area with stylish cord and leather furniture leads to two private decks. The bedroom features a custom build king size bed made from Queensland walnut timber. An elegant bathroom with double rain shower and full glass walls allows private bush views..... just watch the peeping wombats.

A stylish cafe in walking distance of the studios beckons with a sumptuous continental breakfast buffet each morning (included in the rate). Eggs any style with all the trimmings are available as well.

Apart from the focus on luxury and creature comforts, the design of the buildings is also energy efficient and eco-friendly. Using green energy, grey water recycling, heat exchange pumps for hot water, double glazing and total wrap-around insulation, the retreats are environmentally sustainable without making concessions to the comfort of their guests.

The studios present the ultimate in self-contained luxury accommodation - no corners have been cut here - goose down doonas, espresso coffee machine, seductive mood lighting and plush robes - this is the Art of Indulgence!

Set amid 40 acres of rolling countryside, adjoining lush bush land, the studios offer amazing views over the surrounding vineyards & chestnut groves to Mt Buffalo. This tranquil setting is only 10 minutes drive to Bright.

The Buckland Studio Retreat is the epitome of luxury, comfort and style set in perfect surround of this bucolic valley... I certainly didn't want to leave, but I'm coming back. A sentiment echoed by everyone who had written in the guest book. Just waiting for the café to open. Hurry up.

Cafe on the premises

The Buckland - Cafe is now open exclusively as a venue for breakfast and guest lounge for our house guests. The Cafe is situated on the property overlooking the Buckland Valley and Mt. Buffalo, about 300 m away from the studios. A sumptuous continental breakfast buffet is included in all rates. Gourmet a-la-carte breakfast is also available.
