"Anne & John are the perfect hosts! The cottage was already warmed for our arrival, we couldn't have felt more welcome. We have never stayed at a place that had so many quality inclusions, we felt right at home. It was fantastic to be able to sit and look out all around the gardens and watch the birds come and go. I personally felt very privileged to be able to take so many incredible pics at Harrietville and Mt Hotham. We were very blessed to have snow on the mountain and the autumn colours were breathtaking. If you want the BEST holiday, you can't go past Shady Brook! 10/10"

"I instantly knew we were going to enjoy our stay as the minute you enter the grounds you are surronded by beautiful gardens. The units themselves are very clean & cosy and due to where they are situated on the property you are allowed plenty of privacy but not too much that you feel you are alone. "'Shady Brooke' was by far the most tranquil, private, peaceful hideaway I've ever had. Perfect for a romantic getaway or an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The setting and landscaped grounds, with the river flowing through, and the birdlife and bridges is certainly a photographers paradise. A credit to the owners - the accommodation can't be faulted. The owners were very friendly, informative and hospitable. Autumn is picture perfect at the cottages, with leaves scattered everywhere. The cottage was modern with all the creature comforts - a home away from home. Was equipped with everything needed to make for a great holiday!"
