The 2 cottages are a 5 minute walk from the centre of Bright. Both recently refurbished with full kitchen and laundry facilities and each can sleep 2 couples. They are pet friendly and have an exclusive enclosed courtyard with BBQ.

Cottage, Self-contained apartment

Allambie cottages are located in the beautiful town of Bright. They are a pleasant 5 minute walk that can be done via the Ovens river from village shops, gourmet cafes, restaurants, antique shops, great hiking trails, wineries and magnificent lookouts.

Allambie cottages give you a place to relax without worrying about bringing your own linen or trying to start a fire to keep warm.

ALL LINEN AND TOILETRIES ARE SUPPLIED

Each cottage has reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

The cottages although designed for the comfort of 2 people can cater to 4. The style is open plan so that the bedroom on the mezzanine floor is open to the lounge area.

The lounge area has a large leather sofa that converts to a double bed for extra family, friends or for those of us that snore or kick in our sleep.

There is a King sized bed with an electric blanket plus warm doona on the Mezzanine floor and on the ground floor in the lounge area a leather sofa bed with inner spring mattress .

Extra Linen for the sofa bed is supplied at an additional charge when more than 2 people book.

There are 2 TVs one in the lounge area and one on the mezzanine level bedroom in case you just want to snuggle up and watch a movie.

The cottages are not suitable for children due to the wire balustrade to staircase and mezzanine floor.

Each cottage has full kitchen facilities with oven, microwave and dishwasher. A BBQ is situated in each cottages own exclusive fully fenced courtyard garden. Also each has a laundry with washing machine and drier.

PETS

For those guests that travel with their pets each cottage has a fully fenced private courtyard. Pets are also allowed inside whilst you are there.

There is an additional pet charge to cover the extra cleaning for health regulations.

Please remember under NO circumstances may your pet be left on the premises unattended and anything left by your pet (sticks, droppings etc.) must be removed when you leave.

Locality

Our cottages are located close to the Ovens river for relaxing walks along its banks.

There are many wineries that are a pleasant drive away or bicycle ride along the trail for the more energetic.

If you need to hire a bike this can be done in town a short walk away.

Mt buffalo, Mt Hotham, Mt Beauty, Harrietville and Wandilogong are just a few of the places that are easily accessible from Bright.

In winter the snow fields are a pleasant drive but please do not forget your chains or hire them in town.

Allambie cottages are located in a quiet street near to town and the Ovens river.

For those that enjoy art the local gallery is just across the road.

There are plenty of walks close by and a dog friendly park just around the corner. The park has a good supply of doggy bags in case you run out.
