"We were very disappointed in our accommodation at Platypus Country Retreat for the price. I was under the assumption that we had booked separate, private accommdation, but in fact we got a large room apartment within a house alongside two other apartments. We could hear the people next door and it wasn't until I gently knocked on the wall that they were quiet. I did not like having to do this but when you pay $118 for a night's accommodation you at least expect privacy. During our holiday we had previously stayed in much cheaper accommodation where we experienced very private peaceful accommodation. We did not enjoy our stay. The room was very clean and tidy and the food supplied was adequate, but on looking back at the website I can see how we were mislead as to the type of accommodation available. We will not be returning to Platypus Country Estate."
