Our guest accommodation is set amongst the tree tops in the natural bush overlooking the water at Marion Bay. It is a peaceful and private retreat with Marion Bay beach just 5 minutes to the north and Boomer Bay boat ramp 5 Mins to the south.

Holiday house, Guest house, Self-contained apartment

( We have another accommodation now at Marion Bay so this second house may be free if Tree top is booked out. )Pelican's Rest Accommodation is a great spot to unwind in our new fully self contained holiday house. The large decks make being outdoors comfortable and gas B.B.Q for easy meals. The heat pump inside lets heating or cooling be at the touch of a button.
Just 35 mins from Hobart airport and a halfway stop between Hobart and Port Arthur.
A 20 min drive to the beautiful Weilangta forest.

Our second visit to this delightful little retreat, perched in the trees with glimpses of the bay. Lovely to come home to all the home comforts. Congratulations in creating this gem and thanks for having it all sparkling and welcoming for our arrival. Will certainly be back. Cynthia Roberts.

Locality

Our beautiful part of Tassi has safe swimming at the beach for the youngsters at the mouth of Bream Creek. Other attractions include surfing, sailing and charter boats for the keen fisherman or if you just want to take in the scenery and sealife.
Shops,hotel,P.O., Eftpos and takeaways are just 5 mins by car.
Marion Bay is the home of the falls festival over the new year period and is at the centre of the southeast coast and most attractions are only a short drive. Close by is Maria Is. and the Freycinet national park and the Tasman Peninsula for great walks, spectacular views and beautiful coastlines.
Dairyland and vineyards are in the immediate area.
Hobart is 45 mins away with the well known Salamanca market held on Saturday mornings.
Marion Bay beach is a great place for endless walks when mostly you have the whole place to yourselves.
We have wineries, art and craft, artist studios, restaurants and cafes all amongst pristine beaches and environment.
Overall plenty to see and do. Or just nice spot to do nothing.
