The Historic Old Courthouse of Araluen (circ 1861) is located in the beautiful and peaceful Araluen Valley, surrounded by 360 degree mountains.
Today it is a Resort Style Bed & Breakfast with modern facilities such as swimming pool, hot spa(under the stars), tennis court, games room.
Relax in the beautiful gardens,on the veranda or by the open fires, reading a book from the library.
Take those long country walks spellbound by the beauty of the valley or try your hand at gold panning (equipment supplied)
Spend the night in a cell with your own ensuite,TV,video, mini fridge, hairdryer,tea & coffee making facilities.
Dining is an experience at the Old Courthouse, with candlelight dinners, served in the dining room (open fire in winter). Dinner is ordered from a menu and consists of 3 course $40, 2 course $35. Dinner is preceded by complimentary sherry & nibbles and followed by complementary tea/coffee & port.
We are otherwise BYO and charge no corkage. Childrens menu is available.
A breakfast of fresh juice, fresh fruit, a choice of bacon, sausages, eggs & tomato; eggs benedict; or ham, tomato & mushroom omelette along with toast, tea (herbal available) and espresso coffee, is served in the dining room, exercise yard or front veranda, your choice.
