Cottage

Clubbe Cottage dates back to the late Victorian period. It is one of five homes built as part of the Burradoo Polo Club/Recreational area in the 1880's. Burradoo is a elegant residential area just 2 kilometers from Bowral (caters to all needs from gyms, restaurants, theatre and great shopping for all tastes). Bowral is in the New South Wales Southern Highlands and long favoured as a country retreat by generations of city folk.
Burradoo's leafy streets, grand houses and magnificent gardens are an attraction in itslef, perfect for a morning or evening stroll. It is only 500 meters to the Wingercarribee River bike/walking track where you can take in the cows grazing and local bird life.
Accommodation allows flexibility. Could accommodate a family 6 with an extended family of 4. Another senario could be 3 couples, with 3 large sitting rooms. Eat in kitchen with state of the art cooking appliances. Off kitchen is a large deck with outdoor setting, umbrella, bar be que.

Old Burradoo. 2 kilometers to Bowral. 4 kilometers to Moss Vale. Many small towns within 10-20 driving distance. 40-50 minutes to many coastal towns. One and half hours to Canberra and Sydney.

Steeped in history - set over 1/2 an acre, in the heart of Burradoo as a clubhouse for the 'gentlemen of the polo' who played on the adjacent fields. The original New England Cottage styled from the Great Lakes District of Boston, fell into the hands of a passionate craftsman who has painstakingly restored the home to its former glory, but added a few subtle conveniences along the way. The home is open plan with lots of light. Many ceiling to floor windows, doors and windows opening to various outside areas. Very easy living, with a delightful feel.
