Cottage

Clubbe Cottage dates back to the late Victorian period. It is one of five homes built as part of the Burradoo Polo Club in the 1880's. Burradoo is an elegant residential area just 3 kms from Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands and long favoured as a country retreat by generations of city folk.

Burradoo's leafy streets, grand houses and magnificient gardens are an attraction in itself, perfect for a morning or evening stroll. It is only 500 metres to the Wingercarribee River bike/walking track where you can take in the cows grazing and local bird life. Bikes/helmets are available for guests to use.

Accommodation consists of a large wing of Clubbe Cottage.

"Geebung" is completely self-contained for one couple. Own entrance, courtyard and off street parking. Ensuite with spa bath. Sitting area for reading and eating. Comfy queen sized bed with electric blanket. Flat screen T.V. which can be viewed from bed or sitting area. Fully equipped kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge,microwave, sink, frypan and sandwich maker.

All linen.
Bikes/helmets supplied for your use.
Reverse air-conditioning.

"Cuff and Collar" again is completely self-contained with its own entrance, courtyard and off street parking. Access to large verandah. Atrium-style room wall to ceiling colonial windows, dressed with sheers and heavy curtaining. Its own ensuite area consisting of two rooms. Claw bath, separate walk-in shower. Separte toilet room. Large flat screen T.V. plus wireless internet access. Kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave, sandwich maker and frypan.

Old Burradoo. 3 kilometers to Bowral. 5 kilometers to Moss Vale, Southern Highlands. Twenty minutes from most surrounding towns which have their own country feel charm. Centrally located with a choice golf courses. Many favoured restaurants.

Property

Steeped in history - set over 1/2 an acre, in the heart of Burradoo as a clubhouse for the 'gentlemen of the polo' who played on the adjacent fields. The original New England Cottage styled from the Great Lakes District of Boston, fell into the hands of a passionate craftsman who has painstakingly restored the home to its former glory, but added a few subtle conveniences along the way.
Completely self-contained accommodation areas exist for guests. Luxurious, homely and comfy - what you look for in accommodation when visiting the Southern Highlands.
