Bed & Breakfast

A Luxury Resort which is so much more than just a Bed & Breakfast even the architecture won an award. Five Star Luxury with beautiful live music. Zengarra has 3 private suites in a huge house surrounded by grassy meadows shrubberies and bush in 75 acres. On the slopes of Mount Greville, the decks and large swimming pool look out over the tree covered Scenic Rim Mountain Peaks. The Music Pavilion allows musician Christine to give musical interludes on the grand piano then you can dine at the French antique table or sit on the deck under the stars before curling up on the chesterfield in front of a roaring log fire. Tranquillity with nature, peace with yourself, beauty all around. We have bush walks up the property to the National Park which is our boundary. You may see wallabies, goannas, possums, parrots, owls and too many birds to mention. Wheel chair access to the house and special access shower.

Things to do

Music
If music is your thing then we have Sweet Music recitals during Afternoon High Tea on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please allow 24hours notice as everything is fresh-made.

Bird Watching
Zengarra has lots of bird-watching opportunities and recent visitors reported a Striated Pardalote has set up home in one of our big Gums. The Pale Headed Rosellas are sitting on the fence posts. We have a Feathered Friends Trail which we strongly recommend for the interested.

Bush Walking
If you like bush-walking we have 20 to recommend, varying from shorter ones on our own 75 acres to serious walks around the National Parks adjoining.

Gliding or Microlighting.

If you wish to fly we can arrange this for you nearby.

Music Lessons

Christine is a fully qualified music teacher and will give lessons or play duets or accompany any musician on the Grand Piano who wishes to sing or play in our beautiful Music Pavilion
