Locality

We are located 10km around the lake from Bonnie Doon. Nearby towns are Mansfield, Alexandra and Benalla.
Spend your summer overlooking Lake Eildon and Winter at Mt Buller.
Enjoy the great value of off mountain accommodation, 20minutes to Mansfield,
then 20 minutes to Toll Gates at Mt Buller.

Property

Our latest addition is extended accessible undercover outdoor decking area, complete with full disability bathroom.
Completely private cottage high on a ridge. Our property is 15 acres with an abundance of gum trees some 100's of years old around the home. The local wildlife are Kangaroos, wombats, magpies will follow you inside if you leave the door open, rosellas. Even the occassional hawk can be seen hunting rabits. Come see the Stars like you haven't seen in years. Crystal clear sky's at night.

Shower has shower bars and a moveable shower head, Chairs are permitted in the shower, Door frames are wider to suit wheelchairs, Unimpeded wheelchair access from car parking to the property, Some stairs, described below, The toilet is fitted with railings/grip bars, Toilet is big enough to fit a wheelchair.

We have a fully accessible Bathroom, which meets AS1428 standards. The kitchen is standard and guests would need assistance if unable to reach bench top. The kitchen is open plan and easily accessed. The only steps on Entrance gate has 3 steps to decking area. There is a 2 meter wide access gate which opens out onto lawn area which has a level/to gentle rise to a very low ramp of apx 13cm - 1meter wide to undercover decking area. (15meters from carparking to ramp) Entrance from decking area on a level surface into 3m x 3m disability bathroom. Wide Sliding door into bedroom. 1 standard door into lounge area, no hallways and easy turning to open plan living area.

Pet friendly

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Secure, fully fenced running area, Food and water bowls provided.

Pet stays must be arranged prior to arrival. A pet bond payable in cash on arrival of $50, which is happily refunded if no additional cleaning required. Whilst we allow pets inside please restrict to living areas and not on furniture or bedrooms including any bedding. We appreciate it if pets are groomed before entering the house to respect future guests. There is large undercover decking outside areas, byo bedding.
