"It was adequate,clean. My room was changed at the last minute/hour, they rang while I was in transit from Ballina to Sydney.
The room they gave me was next to the garbage bins and the only area where people were allowed to smoke. There seem to be a lot of longer term residents there but that's OK. It was fine, as I was hardly in my room at all."

"Very disappointed. No way do the pictures on the net depict the true quality of the establishment.

The room we had was was not clean and smelt.
The blankets were dirty and covered in hair.

The bathroom floor needed a good scrub and smelt from the drain plug. I complained (which I do not like doing) and the blanket was changed which seemed to be cleaner but still had hair on it. The bed had broken slats. I eventually got so annoyed with the unclean smell, we asked to be moved. The manageress was very apologetic and were moved to a much cleaner room and had one days refund processed. The "do not signs" placed everywhere did not give one a welcomed feeling. I have built and managed a 600 site Caravan park overseas and I was surprised at the owners overall attitude that required all these rediculous demands on the clientel.

I would have to think twice before I rebooked and definitely would not recommend the establishment to my friends unless massive upgrades were completed and the advertising pictures on the front of the Gate and on the Internet matched the Apartments.

"Whilst in Sydney we stayed in various locations/hotels and these were by far the best.
The accommodation was perfect in every way, neat and clean with everything we needed for our stay.
The location was perfect with the bus stop right outside and a close walk to all ammienities.
I felt very safe, the apartments were secure.
The pool was perfect to have a quick dip at the end of a day or if you wanted a change from the beach!"

"I actually bought the holiday for my partner's mum and dad. When they came back however they said that it was absolutely lovely and that they had a fabulous time. They indicated that it was like a little oasis that kept the hussle and bustle of the city out whilst they were in the hotel and then when you stepped out the front gates there was plenty of public transport available and plenty to do. They loved the way it was all laid out and it was particularly helpful that staff were able to arrange specifically for a ground level apartment as my partner's father has a crook leg and can't do stairs very well. All in all they had an excellent time there and were relaxed and refreshed upon their return."
